The Southern Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will host its highly anticipated 2026 Hispanic Market Outlook presented by Vantage West Credit Union and in partnership with Telemundo on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at the Tucson Convention Center, bringing together business leaders, community stakeholders, and policymakers for an in-depth look at the economic forces shaping the region.
The event will begin with a curated “bodega” experience opening at 1:30 PM, showcasing local makers, entrepreneurs, and small businesses that reflect the creativity and cultural richness of Southern Arizona with a NYC twist. The official program will begin at 2:30 PM, followed by a post-event mixer where attendees can continue to engage with vendors and one another.
The Hispanic Market Outlook serves as a key platform for understanding the economic impact, growth trends, and opportunities within the Hispanic market, one of the most dynamic and influential segments of the regional and national economy. This year’s report and presentation will be led by Andrew Deschappelles, President and General Manager of Telemundo Arizona + Las Vegas, who will provide critical insights into market trends, consumer behavior, and the broader economic landscape.
In addition to the economic presentation, this year’s event will include a powerful and moving tribute in recognition of the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001.
We are honored to welcome Richard Picciotto, the highest-ranking firefighter to survive the collapse of the World Trade Center. Retired FDNY Chief Picciotto will share his firsthand account of that day, offering a message centered on resilience, leadership, and the strength of the human spirit in the face of unimaginable adversity.
His story serves as a reminder of the importance of unity, courage, and perseverance—values that continue to resonate today and are essential as communities and leaders navigate challenges of their own.
